Meet Liz

I'm an "eat lunch out of the pan" kind of person most days. There isn't much I do quietly or without zest. I feel deep-rooted satisfaction when I feed people awesome food, and even more when I teach them how to do it for themselves. 

I worked in restaurants for years (still have one) but I left the scene for awhile to pursue a Master's in Teaching because it felt right. I used it to teach culinary school for a handful of years and loved my students - but the business called me back; I had creative seeds to sow. We opened La Boca LLC in 2012. 

With 10 years under my belt as an executive chef and business owner,  I feel the call to do more. 

I have knowledge and skills I can share to make a big impact on lives. That's what I aim to do.
